How Drug Works
This medicine is believed to target the nerves and blood vessels that cause migraine headaches.
How Taken
One dose is taken by mouth at the first signs of a migraine attack. If you must take a second dose, do so exactly as instructed by your doctor. Do not take more than 200mg in a 24 hour period. Tablets are to be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew them.

Warnings/Precautions
You should NOT take this medicine if you have:
certain types of heart disease
a history of stroke or transient ischemic attacks
peripheral vascular disease
Raynaud syndrome
uncontrolled blood pressure
or if you are allergic to this medication
If you have risk factors for heart disease such as:
high blood pressure
high cholesterol
diabetes
or you are a smoker, you should be evaluated by your doctor before taking this drug.
This medicine may cause drowsiness.
Avoid driving until you know how you will react to the medicine.
Overdose
For emergencies, seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center.
Drug Interactions
Tell your doctor of all over-the-counter and prescription medication you take, especially of:
ergotamine- containing medication
all headache drugs
MAO inhibitors:
furazolidone
linezolid
phenelzine
selegiline
tranylcypromine
Missed Dose
This medicine is used when needed and not taken on a regular basis. Follow dosing instructions.
Storage
Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Pregnancy/Nursing
If you want to breast-feed, talk to your doctor to discuss risks to your baby. Consult with your doctor before taking this medicine during your pregnancy.
